This is the Rolland Twin-Tractor Monoplane (with two tractor propellers powered by a 90 h.p. Curtiss OX engine) a USA airplane from 1914 which had 'automatic stability' by using a device with compressed air. Probably a search in the US Patents will reveal what it was. The machine was perhaps ultra stable, but it did not fly or crashed almost immediately, your choice
